teamhatcher Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the teamhatcher Terms of Service. It applies to every customer, workspace, and member. Customers are responsible for their members' compliance.
1. Prohibited uses
Do not use the Services to do any of the following, and do not permit or help others to:
- Break the law. No content or activity that is illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Upload data you have no right to share. Only submit personal data, documents, and files that you are legally entitled to collect, hold, and share with us, with any legally required notices given and consents obtained. This applies especially to employee and hire data, paperwork containing sensitive identifiers, and recordings of people or screens.
- Infringe. No content that infringes or misappropriates copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other rights.
- Distribute malware or attack systems. No viruses, malicious code, phishing, denial-of-service, unauthorized penetration testing, or attempts to probe or breach security.
- Scrape or reverse engineer. No automated scraping or bulk extraction of the Services, and no reverse engineering, decompiling, or copying the platform, except to the extent a law says this restriction cannot apply.
- Bypass limits or metering. No circumventing or attempting to circumvent seat counts, storage limits, AI usage allowances, rate limits, quotas, paywalls, or security or access controls, including by creating multiple accounts or workspaces to farm free allowances.
- Abuse AI features. No using AI features to generate unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or deceptive content; no misrepresenting AI output as independently verified fact or as professional advice; no submitting content to AI features that you are not permitted to share.
- Misuse other people's data. No collecting, uploading, or exposing another person's personal information without authorization and any notice or consent the law requires, and no using the platform to stalk, harass, or surveil anyone.
- Send spam. No using platform email or invitations to send unsolicited bulk messages, and no inviting people who have no genuine relationship with your business.
- Interfere with the Service or other tenants. No disrupting, overburdening, or degrading the Services, accessing another customer's workspace or data, or using the Services to build or benchmark a competing product.
- Misrepresent identity. No impersonating any person or business, and no false claims of affiliation with teamhatcher.
2. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, remove or disable content, limit features, suspend the workspace or specific users, or terminate the account under the Terms of Service. We aim to give notice and a chance to fix issues where the situation reasonably allows, but we may act immediately when necessary to protect the Services, other customers, or any person, or to comply with law. We may report unlawful activity to authorities.
3. Reporting
Report suspected violations or abuse to support@teamhatcher.com, or legal@teamhatcher.com for legal notices. Include links, workspace details, and a description so we can investigate quickly.
